Below are samples of the costs of our Tours and Packages.

Research Only
All research will be charged at an hourly rate. Certified copies and photocopies, postages and other will be charged at face value. Success cannot be guaranteed in any search, but we aim to as thorough and efficient as possible in order to further your research.

On receipt of our Online Enquiry Form , I will give you an assessment of how many hours are required to complete the searches. Following an assessment I will be able to tell you:

• what records were searched
• whether any relevant records were located for your family
• what the cost of the details of the records will be.

If I do not locate records I will try to advise you how you might further pursue your search.

In order to research your family I need as much information as possible about your ancestors. Try to exhaust all possibilities for research in your own country or county first in order to insure the best possible results in researching your family history.

Payment can be made via PayPal or Pound Sterling Cheque. Minimum period of 4 hours research is £64. From there after £16 per hour.

Family History Tours
My fees vary according to each individualised itinerary. My Family Hisotry Tours are highly specialised and unique in nature. They require thorough research and organisation beforehand. As a basic guide please refer to the information below. Please note that fees quoted are for guidance only. Because of the unique nature of each tour, I will plan your itinerary and send you a final price estimate no later than 4 weeks before your departure.

• One Day fees (9am - 5:30 pm)
• Groups of 5 and over- Start at £300.00 per group
• Groups of 5 and under Start at £150.00 per group

What's Included:

• Personal service of Angharad Holmes throughout the day.
• Travel in People Carrier or Mini Bus depending on numbers in group.
• Services of professional driver throughout.
• All entrance fees. Including entrances to Churches, Chaples and local estates arranged on your behalf.
• Specialist 'talks' by local historians en route and at various destinations. The speakers include academics and theologians, as well as noted local character who have a wealth of knowledge and expertise on their particular geographical area.
• Comprehensive tour itinerary beforehand.

Not Included:

• Items of a personal nature.
• Refreshments & lunch at local hostelries/pubs etc
• Accommodation, but Angharad can offer reliable advice if you are searching for accommodation on Anglesey and within North Caernarvonshire.
• Airport/Rail Transfers, but these can be arranged.
• Take a gourmet picnic lunch or visit one of Anglesey's traditional country pubs for lunch. Add to that good weather and a warm welcome and you will experience an unforgettable day out.

Anglesey Archaeology Tours

• One Day fees (9am - 5:30 pm)
  Groups of 5 and over- Start at £250.00 per group
• Groups of 5 and under Start at £125.00 per group

What's Included:

• Personal service of Mr Mike Hughes, Chairman of the Talwrn and District Archaeological Society throughout the day.
• Travel in People Carrier or Mini Bus depending on numbers in group.
• Services of professional driver throughout
• All entrance fees. Including entrances to Churches.
• Comprehensive tour itinerary beforehand.

Not Included:

• Items of a personal nature.
• Refreshments & lunch at local hostelries/pubs etc
• Accommodation, but Angharad can offer reliable advice if you are searching for accommodation on Anglesey and within North Caernarvonshire.
• Airport/Rail Transfers, but these can be arranged.

Changes to the itinerary can be discussed up to 2 weeks before departure, but after that the itinerary is fixed unless unforeseen circumstances beyond my control intervene. In that event I will suggest alternatives. Angharad Holmes Family History Tours and Research Service reserves the right to change, amend, vary or modify any tour, itinerary, or any other aspect of the tour package as it considers necessary or desirable and shall not be liable to its clients or any other person for any claim in respect of damage, inconvenience or loss resulting therefrom. In the event of any changes being made prior to the start date of any tour, then Angharad Holmes will endeavour to inform her clients, as soon as possible of the alteration and at her discretion, bear all of any additional costs that the changes and alterations may incur.

Cancellation.
Tours may be cancelled up to 4 weeks before departure, but cancellations between 2 to 4 weeks before departure will incur a 20% cancellation fee. Cancellations 2 weeks and under will incur 50% cancellation fee. Fees payable 2 weeks beforehand via PayPal.If the client wishes to withdraw from the contract as a result of any alteration, full and prompt refund of all monies paid to Angharad Holmes will be made and no further liabilities will be accepted.

Payment can be made via PayPal or Pound Sterling Cheque in advance.

Please note: The currency converter below is for guideline purposes only and that slight fluctuations in exchange rates may occur, with final payments made in £ pound; sterling.
